摘要
The Hypo Osmotic Swelling Test developed (HOST) by Jeyendran et al., (1984) is useful in evaluating the functional integrity and biochemical activity of plasma membrane of fresh and frozen-thawed spermatozoa (Correa and Zavos, 1994). The objectives of the present study were (i) to evaluate the membrane integrity and motion characteristics of the frozen-thawed crossbred bull spermatozoa and (ii) to determine the relationship between per cent hypo-osmotic reacted (HOS) spermatozoa and zona-free hamster oocyte penetration rate.
