摘要
A Ka-band gyrotron traveling wave amplifier operating in the TE11 circular mode has been presented. The effects of the parameters such as input power, driver frequency and velocity ratio on the performance of the gyro-TWT ares discussed. The simulation results show that the gain and the bandwidth of the designed Ka-band gyro-TWT is about 54.0dB and 2.5GHz with 3dB bandwidth respectively. The peak output power and the corresponding electron efficiency is about 94kW and 22.4% respectively with the voltage 70kV and the current 6A at the velocity ratio 1.0.
