摘要
The percentage shear force on the side wall of a rectangular duct and the ratio of centre-line bed shear stress to the two-dimensional value are calculated using a two-layer k-epsilon turbulence model. The results are compared with experiment, and the inability of this linear isotropic eddy viscosity model to reproduce turbulence driven secondary flows is shown to be significant for the modelled parameters.
