Adsorption of argon on talc: Theoretical and experimental study

摘要
Adsorption isotherm of argon on talc was measured at 77 K in the pressure range 100-15 000 Pa. The experimental Henry's law constant is compared with the same quantity calculated theoretically. The possible sources of discrepancy between theoretical and experimental Henry's constants and the importance of the electrostatic part of the interaction potential between the gas atom and the solid surface are discussed.
