Applying intelligent guarding system embedded on the distributed collaboration distance video conferencing system

摘要
A new distance video conferencing system which runs on desktop computer is proposed, which features additional functions such as monitoring each room while a meeting is in progress. This system creates natural atmosphere of cyber meeting by allowing the participants to be noticed of the exact situation by monitoring with CCD cameras and sensors on the ISDN public line. Current distance video conference desktop system which are available in the real market, implemented on leased lines (T1/E1), requires high costs, but this system would be cost-effective in terms of network bandwidth and deployment cost. This new monitoring system however works separately on the public ISDN line while the meeting is on. Sometimes, it's necessity secrets to check the doors or windows for the sudden intruder and broke-in. We are able to protect our real estate and lives using this system.
