An approach on the application of clustering analysis to equipment evaluation

摘要
This paper outlines application of multivariate analysis method to equipment evaluation. Hierarchical clustering method is used for evaluating fourteen power diesel engines with a large amount of oil analysis data. Analysis indicated that these engines have different condition. It showed that hierarchical clustering is an effective method for equipment evaluation.
