Bienzymatic glucose biosensor based on graphite electrode modified with nanofibrous polyaniline

Nanofibrous polyaniline (PANI) was electropolymeried on graphite electrode by cyclic voltammetry (CV), and a glucose bienzyme sensor based on glucose oxidase (GOD) and horseradish peroxidase (HRP) immobilized on the modified electrode was fabricated. The bienzymatic sensor was charaterized by ac impedance spectrometry and SEM. The stability and the factors affected the response of the bienzymetic sensor to glucose were studied. The detection of glucose was carried out at 0.05 V (vs SCE) to minimize the electroactive interferences. The linear response range of the as-prepared bienzyme sensor for glucose was between 0.05 mmol . L-1 and 2.0 mmol . L-1.
