Entrepreneurial Orientation of Students. A Contrastive Study

The aim of the paper is to find out the interest of the students in the technical field for the assimilation of the notions of entrepreneurship, taking into consideration the current situation of the economy, when young people are encouraged, through special programs, to open their own business. In Romania, the entrepreneurial education in college has witnessed an ascendent trend in the last ten years. The introduction into curriculum of the entrepreneurial education-related subjects has intended to boost the learning opportunities via complementary patterns and mechanisms, mainly by providing certain programs to develop the entrepreneurial spirit among students. As a subject, entrepreneurship is studied during the three cycles of study, i.e. bachelor, master and PhD.
