CURVATURE DUCTILITY OF T-SHAPED RC COLUMN

摘要
The mechanical performances of T-shaped reinforced concrete (RC) column vary with the change of load angle. Based on the full consideration of the influence of the load angle on the curvature ductility of T-shaped RC columns, the definition of two different kinds of curvature ductility is presented in the paper. The curvature ductility of 10800 T-shaped columns is calculated using computer program. The impacts of the neutral axis angle. the axial compression ratio, the concrete compression strength, the strength of reinforcing bars, the ratio of stirrups, the ratio of height to thickness and the L-shape ratio on the curvature ductility are analyzed. The formulas of two kinds of curvature ductility are proposed. Research results give helpful instructions for structural design and engineering projects.
