摘要
This poster summarises preliminary work in a joint project to analyse in detail the potential for reducing emissions to the atmosphere from agricultural sources of two greenhouse gases, namely methane and nitrous oxide, and to assess the probable costs associated with each option. This includes a critical review of the available methodologies for reducing N2O and CH4 from agriculture, and the consequences and needs for agricultural management. The eventual aim is to produce marginal costs and potential reductions for such abatement measures in UK agriculture, taking into account different agricultural sectors and different management systems, whilst recognising the impact of National and European legislation as it may affect the industry.
