摘要
For techno-economic modeling of electric vehicles to be useful, it must have access to realistic information on their consumption. A high-quality technical model can provide a precise and customized estimate of consumption to link with an economic study. However, these two worlds are traditionally not well-linked, and economic assessments usually use a simple model of consumption, such as a fixed efficiency (kWh/km). As a consequence, operating and life-cycle costs can differ from the figures assumed in these studies. This paper uses a case study to show that realistic driving cycles can result in total cost of ownership that varies by up to 4 %.
