摘要
The transportation industry is changing at a rapid pace today than at any point in history with the introduction of autonomous vehicles and ride-sharing platforms such as Uber, Lyft. The increasing rate of urbanization has added pressure on the already constrained transportation networks in our communities. Such disruptions provide us a unique opportunity to accelerate culture change towards low impact mobility options. The focus of this work is in the development of a Socially Optimal Multi-Modal Routing Platform, which will provide timely information and prompts to facilitate safe and convenient mobility options, provide incentives to motivate and reinforce alternative travel choices and provide social reinforcement for use of alternative travel.
