Methods of perturbation and equalization for multi-user detection

摘要
To simplify the solution of multi-user detection (MUD) problems in band limited CDMA systems, the approximately known function of pulse shaping is separated from the unknown time varying channel functions by blind equalization. Then we solve for the MUD using perturbation method. The iteration of perturbation and equalization corrects more errors without incurring much complexity We use simple models to simulate asynchronous CDMA in near/far and multi-path environments, and show that the proposed methods outperform rake receivers.
