摘要
Since high-performance composite materials were widely used in various fields, composite fasteners' connection technology has been a research hotspot. In this paper, a new type of interference-fit fastener was proposed and manufactured. Pull-through resistance tests were conducted to explore the pull-out performance of the fastener. The installation and pull-out process were analyzed by a finite element method. The simulated pull-out force well matched the results of the tests. The main failure modes of the composite plate are matrix damage and delamination. The simulation results showed that the extended length of the expansion sleeve, the length of the reducer segment, the extension length of the nut, and the interference size greatly influence the joint's performance. Based on the response surface method (RSM), the structural parameters that affect the fastener's pre-tightening and pull-out performance were optimized. The optimal parameter combination of the interference-fit fastener was obtained.
