Layered pre-descemet intracorneal hemorrhage in a patient with end-stage glaucoma

A patient receiving anticoagulant therapy, who had a history of neovascular glaucoma secondary to proliferative diabetic retinopathy, presented with sudden loss of vision. He was found to have a layered, posterior, intracorneal hemorrhage associated with a Descemet membrane detachment. Deep intracorneal hemorrhage way result in patients who have neovascular glaucoma with probable deep corneal neovascularization, possibly aggravated by anticoagulant therapy.
