Gro ss ere Studien belegen, dass bei etwa 60% der Intensivpatienten die enterale Ernahrung (enteral nutrition, EN) nicht ausreichend ist. Ein Problem scheint die Unterbrechung der enteralen Ernahrung (enteral nutrition interruption, ENI) zu sein. Grunde, Haufigkeit und Dauer der ENI und ihre Assoziation zu einer Mangelernahrung untersuchte eine prospektive Beobachtungsstudie in Litauen.
