The document management in schools: guidelines for the design of an electronic management system of school documents

Objective: To indicate guidelines for the design of an electronic school document management system. Design/Methodology/Approach: To indicate the guidelines for the design of an electronic school document management system, two guiding methodological bases were used: Santos Filho (2015) and Taugor (2015). Conclusions: Managing school documents is not an easy task, this depends on a number of factors, such as training your staff for that role, and if possible acting under the supervision of an archivist who has the skills and abilities to classify, sort, evaluate, describe and save documents. Originality/Value: The guidelines presented here will allow the design of an electronic school document management system, which can guide the flow of documents of any educational institution, making the integrated and intelligent management of documents between the different departments of the same, so facilitate the dissemination of information and access to documents by professionals in each department, thereby improving relationships and bringing the institution, students and carers closer and closer.
