Influence of a Coronal Mass Ejection on the Solar Cosmic Ray Acceleration by a Shock Wave in the Lower Solar Corona

摘要
Based on the theory of diffusive shock acceleration of charged particles, we have theoretically studied the spectra of protons produced by a shock wave driven by a coronal mass ejection with a velocity of 1000 km s(-1) in the lower solar corona with known solar plasma parameters using numerical methods. We show that protons with energies greater than or similar to 10(3) MeV can be produced at distances up to 3-5 R-circle dot (R-circle dot is the solar radius) within 700-1300 s.
