Development of a recyclable water based pressure sensitive adhesive for postage stamp applications

There are many factors to consider when developing an environmentally benign adhesive. Among these factors are the adhesive composition to chose that will provide the desired properties, the type of recycle process that the adhesive is best suited for, and the exchanging of information among adhesive manufacturer, liner and facestock suppliers, coaters and recycle mills. These factors were all considered in the development of a candidate Recyclable Stamp Adhesive.
