摘要
This paper briefly discusses the modeling and design of a Thermoelectric Generator(TEG),a semiconductor device,which converts the temperature difference to electromotive force(emf),based on the phenomenon called the Seebeck effect and hence it is also called as Seebeck generator.A study has been made about the performance analysis of Thermo electric Generator.We have also developed a Thermoelectric generator model with the help of Matlab/Simulink and studied its performance in a car exhaust for recovery of waste heat.The model is capable of recovering a good amount of electrical power from the exhaust waste heat.
