摘要
This paper deals with the investigation on the interaction between a switching arc and the switching mechanics in SF(6) self-blast circuit breakers. The commercial CFD package FLUENT is used to simulate the hot gas flow inside the interrupter unit introducing a spring drive-, a valve- and a simplified arc model. The results of the simulation are verified by measurement data.
