Tunable, Single Passband Photonic Microwave Filter Based on Stimulated Brillouin Scattering in Nonlinear Fiber

摘要
A single passband, photonic microwave bandpass filter based on stimulated Brillouin scattering in a 1-km long highly nonlinear dispersion-shifted optical fiber is experimentally demonstrated. Using the proposed scheme a single microwave passband with a similar to 26 MHz bandwidth is readily achieved over a 1.3 similar to 9.3 GHz range.
