摘要：
The article analyzes the notions "business", "entrepreneuriat" and "entrepreneurship"; the internal contradictions in their traditional interpretations in the Russian scientific and educational literature are revealed. Basing on the research of these economic terms' etymology and semantics the author suggests new approaches to their scientific definition in the academic literature. Proper interpretation and perception of these key notions of the market economy within the transitional post-Soviet educational systems form the grounds for the formation and development of the basic socioeconomic institutions.
