Words and phrases in Crimean Karaim Bible texts

Karaim Bible translations undoubtedly constitute the most important texts among written Karaim documents. These translations, rich in subject-matter and content, have contributed enormously to the Karaim vocabulary. Bible translations give evidence of many words that are not included in existing studies of Karaim lexical stock. This study aims to evaluate some selected words contained in Crimean Karaim Bible translations. Many of them are not yet included in Karaim dictionaries. Due to the high number of relevant words in the Karaim Bible, only those starting with the letter b are presented in this article.
