Synthesis, Crystal Structure of A New Ternary Copper(II) Complex and Its Interaction with DNA

摘要
A new ternary copper(II) complex, [Cu(Dppz)(Gly)(H2O)]center dot NO3 center dot H2O (dppz =dipyrido [3,2-a:2',3'-c] phenazine, Gly=L-glycine), has been synthesized and structurally characterized. The complex crystallized in a monoclinic system with space group P2(1)/c, a=2.158 8(4) nm, b=0.721 6(13) nm, c=1.421 9(3) nm, beta=108.648(2)degrees. The five-coordinate copper(II) center is a distorted square pyramid. Absorption spectra and fluorescence spectra showed that there was interaction between the copper(II) complex and DNA through an intercalative mode. The complex exhibited efficient DNA cleavage activity in the presence of ascorbate. CCDC: 767873.
