摘要：
Respiratory protection and industrial air purification are only two of the important applications of catalytic oxidation of CO at room temperature in undried air. This reaction proceeds with hydrous ruthenium(IV) oxide as the heterogenous catalyst. In the example shown in the diagram (X(CO) = CO conversion) the CO concentration was adjusted to the starting value of 0.8 vol% after each 20 min run.
