摘要:
The aim of this 12-year-long longitudinal study was to determine whether socio-educational and employment itineraries of young people living in boarding school are different from those of young people living with their families. The sample was made up of 167 young people, 140 day students and 27 boarders, aged between 25 and 27 years. A Chi-square analysis showed that the itineraries of both groups were significantly different, with boarders occupying the lowest educational and employment positions. A regression analysis found that that best predictor of the socio-employment position of young people were academic performance, parent's level of education/occupation, and type of residence.
