Synthesis of some new 1-[4-(2-phenylethyl)-5-(pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthioacetyl]-4-(phenylethyl) thiosemicarbazides and their biological activity

摘要：
Three new 1-[4-(2-phenylethyl)-5-(pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthioacetyl]-4-(2-phenylethyl) thiosemicarbazides (4a-c) was prepared by the reaction of [4-(2-phenylethyl)-5-(pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylthio] acetic acid hydrazides (3a-c) and 2-phenylethyl isothiocyanate: Their IR, H-1 NMR, MS and elemental analysis confirmed the structures of these compounds. Synthesized compounds were tested against some gram positive and gram-negative bacteria.
