摘要
A new class of recent movements of the Earth's surface, namely, parametrically induced tectonic deformations of fault zones, is revealed. Very fast (up to 5-7 cm/yr; 5-7 x 10(-5) yr(-1)) surface movements in fault zones of seismically active and aseismic regions are shown to arise under the action of very small external effects of natural (nucleation of a remote earthquake or an insignificant amount of atmospheric precipitation) or anthropogenic (a slight change in the regime of oil production) origin.
