Current situation and development tendency of test & research on environment adaptability of electrical products

Any electrical product is used in different natural and industrial environments, therefore the environment adaptability of the product and its materials becomes an important quality index. Namely, it is one of crucial contents of reliability index during its service length. The environment adaptability of material and product may be inspected and assessed through artificial accelerated test and natural exposure test, whereby improvement is made upon product. The developed countries have carried out the research and tests over 80 years. Furthermore, there are the relevant international standards. At present when Chinese products are striding toward the world, the importance of environment adaptability of electrical products becomes increasingly obvious and urgent for the manufacturers.
