摘要
This study focused on the attitude of senior adults to text entry of Chinese characters on the mobile devices. Various Chinese input methods, including Pinyin input method, Wubi input method, Handwriting input method, Stylus input method, Voice input method, other input methods, were evaluated in this study. Preference and Motivation on different text entry methods were investigated. This study interviewed to evaluate the attitude of the senior adults of text entry of Chinese characters. An experiment was conducted in this study to test the immersion level of Chinese input. Moreover, Design implications for the senior adults on Chinese input on mobile devices were developed.
