摘要
In experiments with dandelions (Toraxacum ceratoforum) and fireweed (Chamaenerion latifolium), a species-specific character of intake of some elements from the soil by plants was revealed. It was found that surface contamination with cement did not result in any significant increase in concentrations of different elements in plant tissues but affected genome activity and cell repair in the root meristem of dandelion seedlings. The processes involving considerable expenditures for repair, transcription, and translation were shown to be of critical importance for the formation of radiosensitivity in the seed progeny of dandelions exposed to containination with cement dust.
