摘要
ZnO and TiO2 nanoparticles encapsulated within boron nitride nanocages were produced by a sol-gel method and thermal annealing treatment. The structural and chemical characterizations of these nanoparticles were performed with the use of high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and FTIR. The size of ZnO and TiO2 nanoparticles encapsulated within BN nanocages was determined by analysis of the X-ray diffraction peaks according to the Debye-Scherrer equation.
