Analysis of Strain Sensor using Millimeter Wave Chipless RFID Tag

摘要
This paper presents a strain sensor using millimeter wave chipless RFID tag. The chipless RFID is composed of several tags and a reader. The reader reads the data from the resonant frequency of the tag's backscattered wave. The resonance frequency of presented strain sensor tag is depended on tag shape changing by strain. The shape of strain sensor tag is optimized by the finite-difference time-domain method and micro genetic algorithm in order to maximize variations of resonance frequencies. The optimization results show that the desired resonant frequencies and large variations are obtained.
