AMPLIFIER customers often require customization, but with fast delivery. Although these two requirements appear to be diametrically opposed, a small but growing supplier in the United Kingdom has earned to successfully balance the requirements while increasing the ranks of its satisfied customers. The firm-Microwave Amplifiers Ltd. (Nailsea, Bristol, England)-offers a wide range of gallium-arsenide (GaAs) field-effect-transistor (FET) amplifiers for communications and test applications at frequencies to 20 GHz.
