摘要
This paper introduces vibration-based online and non-destructive detection technology for structural damage. Research objectives for on-line structural damage detection are generalized, and basic requirements for on-line structural damage detection are proposed. The state of art for vibration-based structural damage detection is reviewed, and an advanced research strategy is proposed. An example of crack damage detection of a honeycomb sandwich plate is presented. Finally, eight topics for further study on vibration-based structural damage detection are suggested.
