An optical voltage sensor based on the theory of Fabry-Perot interferometer

摘要
An optical sensor based on the theory of Fabry-Perot interferometer for the measurement of electrical voltage is presented. A structure of the fixed cross beam with a salver is designed by ANSYS. The deflection of the salver forced by an electromagnetic force leads to the displacement of the beam. This displacement causes the change of the length of the FP microcavity. Interrogation of the microcavity is achieved by FBG correlative demodulation. The arms of the fixed beam are identical, all with 10mm in length, 2mm in width and 0.25mm in thickness. The salver is 0.3mm in thickness and has a radius of 16mm. The voltage changes from 0kV to 10kV in this work and the output light intensity is as 4.25 times as the initial value. The simulation results are also given in this work.
