Densities of glycine, L-alanine, and L-serine in aqueous glucose solutions have been measured at T = 298.15 K by an oscillating-tube densimeter Apparent molar volumes and limiting partial molar volumes of each amino acid have been calculated. The trends of transfer volumes have been interpreted by the cosphere overlap model. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
