摘要
In 1994, Christian Veterinary Mission volunteer Dr. Gerald Mitchum and a group of other veterinarians from the United States took a veterinary survey trip to the ancient land of Mongolia. What they found was a country in need of veterinary help and expertise. The country's large population of seminomadic people, whose well-being depends on livestock, needed help in protecting their sheep, goats, yak, horses, camels, and cows from brucellosis. Mongolia's veterinarians needed solutions. Today, dreams are becoming reality. The following is Dr. Mitchum's firsthand account of his experiences in Mongolia.
