Industry must anticipate future developments for the protection of the environment. The concept of sustainability provides the widest criteria for consideration This paper presents a review of areas of activity of British Steel which are directed to achieve a positive approach to sustainability and which, by so doing, will benefit society and ensure the Company's future successful performance.
