摘要
Business process modeling (BPM) is crucial to enterprise performance, which provides a common understanding of the enterprise and a basis for reengineering process. However, most of the research and practical work in the domain of BPM is devoted to describing and formalizing the order of activities rather than to the explication and representation of goals. While in fact, business processes are collections of activities with common objectives and human activities are primarily driven by goals. A clear understanding of organization goals is essential to the selection of alternative activities while implementing the goals, and clear representation of goals will help in comprehending organization changes which will assist the conduction of reengineering. Based on the above ideas, this paper puts forward a goal-oriented business process modeling pattern. Based on the process model proposed, an integrated business process reengineering framework is presented and the reengineering process is discussed. The goal-driven BPM method discussed in this paper can increase the efficiency of the model to a certain degree, implementing the proper allocations of resources and staffs. And with the movement of business objectives, it can achieve process reengineering rapidly.
