Theoretical investigation of transmission-type phase shifter made with muscovite mica crystal for 1-keV region

摘要
In a soft x-ray region from 0.7 keV to 1.1 keV, the performance of transmission-type phase shifter was investigated theoretically based on the dynamical theory. As the result it was found that natural muscovite, KAl2(AlSi3O10)(OH)(2), could be used as phase shifters in both symmetric Bragg and Lane geometries. In particular, the muscovite(002) having 5 mu m thickness in Laue geometry showed a phase retardation of similar to +/- 90 degrees and a transmittance of similar to 0.02% at 0.88 keV.
