Study on Knowledge Absorptive Capability of Regional Innovation System

Regional competing capability, economic growth and innovation capability are endogenous during the technology progress. Construction and development of regional innovation system (RIS) is a necessary way to integrate regional resource, exert the coordinate effects in RIS, and recycle the learning process. The innovation capability of RIS lies on the regional knowledge it has and the knowledge absorptive capability. This paper uses regional economic method to analyze the external factors influencing knowledge absorptive capability of RIS. Then after Factor Analysis, we find out two key internal factors that influence the regional economy. One is the culture and technology input, the other is the knowledge communication and innovation level. Finally, advices are given to enhance the technology transforrn capability, industry-university-institute innovation ability of the regional innovation system.
