摘要
Photocatalytic degradation of Vat dye in aqueous suspension of TiO2 is comparatively a good method for removal of these impurities. The extent of degradation is followed by UV-vis. spectroscopy. The degradation process is performed with and without photocatalyst and also oxidising agent. The reaction in which anatase form of TiO2 with oxidising agent is used under UV-irradiation exhibited marked photocatalytic activity.
