Dynamic measurement on technological innovation efficiency of high technology industry in China

摘要
High technology industry is the dominant industry of China. Its technological innovation efficiency (TIE) is a primary indicator of the comprehensive national strength. Based on CCR model in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), this paper selects eight input indicators and five output indicators to measure TIE during the period of 11 years from 2000 to 2010 in high technology industry. In order to further analyze the distinctions among those efficient years, the super efficiency model is also applied, based on which the dynamic trend of TIE is analyzed through dynamic evaluation method with TIE change speed and acceleration speed characteristics. Moreover, this paper interpreted the dynamic development trend of high technology industry of China in a new perspective.
