摘要
Ecological characteristics of wetland vegetation were investigated in the urbanized and reclaimed regions of the Pearl River Delta (PRD) to reveal the effects of different anthropogenic activity on wetland vegetation in this delta. Our results showed that a total of 68 species of plants were recorded, and the dominant species were Cyperus malaccensis and Scirpus triqueter. The wet and dry weights of aboveground and underground vegetation plants in Nansha district were larger than those in Panyu district. Ecological indicators greatly fluctuated from upstream to downstream in Panyu district, whereas they showed higher values in the younger reclaimed region than old ones except for plant density in Nansha district.
