摘要：

A 64-year-old Japanese man was diagnosed as Cushing's disease due to a pituitary adenoma, and Hardy's operation was performed. After the surgery, his blood pressure (BP) was normalized along with the increase in coefficient of variation (CV) of his self-monitored systolic BP at home from 2.7% to 4.2% and the diastolic BP CV from 3.2% to 5.4%. Diminished BP fluctuation evaluated by home BP monitoring could be a marker of a special cause of hypertension such as secondary hypertension.
