Development of L.S. Vygotsky's ideas in A.N. Leontiev's early works

The article discusses aspects of the development of the cultural historical theory of L.S. Vygotsky in the early (late 1920s - early 1930s) works of AX Leontiev, focusing on the fundamental <<Development of memory>> in which the ideas of L.S. Vygosky's scientific credo of the second half of the 1920s are substantiated by a considerable amount of experimental data. The author's analysis of that and A.N. Leontiev's other works of the same period suggests that the ideas of the new - <<activity>> - conception devised by A.N. Leontiev in the 1930s emerged within L.S. Vygotsky's cultural historical approach as its creative development.
