摘要
Pr1.1Sr1.3Ba0.6Cu3O7 single crystals were studied by measuring the temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility. It was identified that the Neel transition for the Cu(2) sublattice takes place at 270 K. Another magnetic phase transition, associated with the antiferromagnetic ordering of Pr moments, was observed at 7.5 K under relatively high magnetic field. The result indicates that the Sr-for-Ba substitution weakens the Pr4f-O2p, hybridizations in Pr(Ba,Sr)(2)Cu3O7 system. The field-dependent behavior for the magnetic susceptibility suggests the exchange coupling between Cu(2) and Pr moments, which accounts for the failure of recovery of superconductivity by the heavy Sr substitution.
