摘要
This study presents measured flow fields of a cross-stream encountering inclined jets ejected from a row of five forward expanded holes with an inclined angle of 350 on a concave surface at a blowing ratio of 1.0. This study uses Digital Particle Image Velocimetry to measure cross-stream velocity distributions. A CCD camera captured images of seeded particles in the flow, producing flow visualization results for the ejected jets. This study presents the cross-stream streamlines that start at X/D = -0.1 and different elevations to illustrate the cross-stream flow patterns. Near the wall at Z/D = 0.13, the cross-stream streamlines away from the hole center are initially pushed away from the wall and then are quickly dragged towards the wall by the formation of a counter-rotating-vortex pair in the jet. Finally, mixing between the cross-stream and the jet diminishes the cross-stream streamlines.
